What is Goat Yoga?
Goat Yoga is yoga with goats taught by a certified yoga instructor. Our goats are Nigerian Dwarf goats and range between 15-40lbs. Throughout the hour-long class the goats interact with participants which may include jumping on you, snuggling, investigating you and your belongs and/or sitting or sleeping on you or your mat. Our goats are easy going, sweet and smart and love attention. The yoga class is designed for all levels and ages. If you don't do yoga, don't worry... our cutest miniature goats will show you.
What to Expect
A lot of cuteness!! Our miniature goats join classes from start to finish to support yogis with proper positioning, offer cuddles and entertain you. Classes are held in various areas at the farm but it is outside and on a farm so you may get a little dirty. The class lasts an hour but guests are welcome to visit with the goats and other animals following the class but save time to visit our farm store!
What to Wear & Bring
We recommend dressing comfortably and wearing clothes to cover bare parts you do not want scratched. Bring a mat or towel for the class. Mats are available for rental ($5) or purchase ($15) at the farm. Bring a drink or purchase one at our store. Don't forget your wallet! You are sure to find something you can't live without at S-Farms' Marketplace.
Private Goat Yoga
Goat Yoga is a great way to get together with your co-workers, friends and family to enjoy the fresh air, get a little work out and enjoy a little animal therapy . We welcome groups of all sizes. You will enjoy an hour of yoga with our miniature goats taught by one of our certified yoga instructors. You may have up to fifteen (15) people in a class. We do consider groups of 20+ and is dependent on how many goats we have available at that time. We want to make sure our little gogis can share their time with everyone.
Fee for Open/Private Classes
The fee for an open class is $40 plus tax per person. Our open classes are offered once a month.
The fee to book a private goat yoga class is $600 plus tax and includes up to 15 participants. Additional participants are $35 plus tax.
